Unravel

Unravel is an interventional piece of performance art that was done in collaboration with The Blood Root Gallery and photographer KR Morrison, in December 2020. Curated objects were assembled by using reclaimed yarn and thread, in order to construct figurative forms associate with childhood, to be utilized as prop and artifice for this performance piece; which is a rooted in the notion of being bound and being released. The piece of sculptural work, after being utilized in a demonstration for the first act of this piece, was interjected into public space and abandoned as a second act to the performance until being forcibly removed in order for housing development to continue in the Comox Valley.
