Tattoo Pfactice

During the outbreak of Covid, in 2019, I began my studies of the history, culture and practices of tattooing. Through many ventures, I found myself focusing in on the tattooing method of stick and poke.

While learning about tattooing processes, I became passionate providing the safest care possible to my clients. Especially with concern to Covid health measures and protocols. In order to make sure that the same attention to health and wellness was paid to as the aesthetic behind the tattoo artwork motivated me to take the Health Care Assistant program offered at North Island College. Since graduating, I have also completed a number of other courses and programs, such as the Blood Born Pathagoens Certification, which help me guarantee the safety of each client I have the pleasure of working with.

Currently I am in the process of seeking an apprenticeship, expanding my portfolio, and further developing my skill and theoretical frameworks. I don’t think any of us truly ever arrive, it is for that reason that I am still dedicated to working on building my practice and abilities; at this point I am accepting select clients, for limited bookings, under specific conditions and criteria, however, I am predominantly focusing in on making tattoos within a fine arts context exclusively.
